Photographer and photography editor from Washington DC, USA. His works have been published in Das Magazin, Hollands Diep, PHOTO, NY Times Mag, Newsweek, Le Figaro, NY Times, Washington Post, among many others.

He has traveled across Eastern Europe for a ten-year body of work called East, looking at the evolution of the region since the end of communism. He has received an ArtsLink grant and a US government cultural grant for the East series and has exhibited in several countries.
